Aston Martin a créée spécialement pour James Bond la DB10, une série spéciale pour le film Spectre. La DB10 a été présentée aux studios Pinewood en 2014, cinquante ans après la première apparition à l’écran de l’agent secret au volant d’une Aston Martin, la DB5 grise de Goldfinger. Présentation de la 007 Aston Martin DB10
La voiture 007 Aston Martin DB10 est révélée aux studios Pinewood en décembre 2014 par le réalisateur Sam Mendes et la productrice Barbara Broccoli, à l’occasion de la présentation du film Spectre. Les studios Pinewood, annonce que la 24ème aventure de James Bond, Spectre, met en scène l’Aston Martin DB10 en tant que voiture star et la Jaguar C-X75 comme redoutable adversaire équipé du V8 Jaguar de près de 550 ch.
Concernant cette DB10, seulement dix exemplaires sont produits, tous destinés à la production du film.

4 December 2014, Gaydon: Aston Martin together with EON Productions, the producers of the James Bond film franchise, unveiled Bond’s stunning new car, the Aston Martin DB10, on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios.
The luxury British sports car brand is delighted to confirm that James Bond will once again drive an Aston Martin in Spectre. On this occasion, it will be a model developed specifically for the film and built in-house by the brand’s design and engineering teams. Led by Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, the design team worked closely with the film’s director, Sam Mendes, to create the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.
Celebrating the great British brand’s half century with Bond, which started with the iconic DB5, the DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins. Dr Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, said:

Production will be strictly limited to 10 of the bespoke sports cars, developed and built by the designers, engineers and highly skilled craftspeople at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters.

Le moteur de l’Aston Martin DB10
Le moteur est le bloc 4,7L issu de la Vantage V8 de production, doté d’une puissance de 436 ch. The car’s chassis is based on a modified version of the VH Platform that underpins the V8 Vantage. However the DB10 has a longer wheelbase and is nearly as wide as the One-77. It is powered by the Vantage’s 4.7 L V8 engine.
C’est l’entreprise RS Fabrications, situé dans le sud-est de l’Angleterre, qui a participé à la préparation moteur, d’alors pour ‘the Aston Martin V8 Engine Development’ en 2013, et récemment sur ‘the 007 Spectre RS Fabrications GT4 Silencers’.
Le moteur de l’Aston Martin V8 Vantage
A savoir, l’Aston Martin V8 Vantage s’est vu offrir une nouvelle configuration moteur en 2008, ainsi désormais équipée d’un moteur de 4,7 L. Ce moteur 8 cylindres en V de 4 735 cm3 adoptant une position longitudinale avant, développe de 426 ch à 7 300 tr/min pour un couple de 470 Nm à 5 000 tr/min. Le couple a ainsi bondi de près de 60 Nm, pour le même régime moteur. Le moteur sonne grave, un son très caractéristique des Aston Martin actuelles. Grâce à son châssis tout en aluminium composite pour un poids total de 1 570 kg, soit plus de 200 kg de moins que la DB94, l’Aston Martin V8 Vantage effectue le 0 à 100 km/h en 4,8 s, soit 0,2 s de moins que la version 2005. Des performances qui permettent à cette auto d’atteindre une vitesse maximale de 288 km/h.

The Aston Martin DB10
The Aston Martin DB10 is a bespoke two-door coupé created for the James Bond film Spectre by the British car manufacturer Aston Martin.
The car was unveiled by Sam Mendes and Barbara Broccoli, the director and producer of Spectre, the 24th James Bond film from Eon Productions. The unveiling took place as part of the official press launch of the film on the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios, near London, on 4 December 2014. Mendes introduced the car as « the first cast member ». According to the film’s producers, Eon Productions, the film will feature the Aston Martin DB10 as its starring car. This continues the tradition, with Aston Martins having featured in several 007 films.
Shortly after the unveiling ceremony in Pinewood Studios, Aston Martin also took part in the launch of the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden, London. The car company were celebrating their fifty-year partnership with Bond films franchise, which started with the DB5 being used in the 1964 film Goldfinger.
The DB10 design was led by Aston Martin’s chief creative officer Marek Reichman, with the film’s director Mendes working closely with the team. The car was developed specifically for the film and ten units will be hand-built in-house by the company’s design and engineering teams in Gaydon. Aston Martin stated that ‘the DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins.’
As of December 2014, Aston Martin had released few of the technical details of the car, but they have revealed that it will feature the company’s 6-speed manual transmission unit that is used on their V8-engined cars. The car’s chassis is based on a modified version of the VH Platform that underpins the V8 Vantage. However the DB10 has a longer wheelbase and is nearly as wide as the One-77. It is powered by the Vantage’s 4.7 L V8 engine.
The Aston Martin was caught on video while being filmed at Blenheim Palace on 11 February 2015. Two versions were seen – the standard with vehicle registration DB10 AGB, and an adapted version with driver rig atop the vehicle.

A Londres, une exposition pas comme les autres est proposée au London Film Museum depuis le 24 mars 2014. Il s’agit de « Bond in motion », la seule et unique exposition qui nous présente les moyens de locomotion utilisés par l’agent secret et ses adversaires ! James Bond a le permis de tuer, mais aussi de conduire…souvent des voitures de rêve, « améliorées » par Q. ! Et dès le 18 novembre 2015, l’exposition met à jour sa collection avec les véhicules de Spectre !

Bond in Motion has been the most successful exhibition in the history of the London Film Museum and now features over 150 original artefacts spanning all 24 Bond films, including vehicles, miniatures, concept art and storyboards. Highlights include iconic cars such as the Aston Martin DB5 from GOLDENEYE; the ‘Wet Nellie’ Lotus Esprit S1 from THE SPY WHO LOVED ME; the Rolls-Royce Phantom III from GOLDFINGER; and the ‘Little Nellie’ Wallis WA-116 Agile autogyro from YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE.
